September 18: Arrival In US
September 19-22: Orientation Sessions with Legacy staff, US Association of Former Members of Congress, Legislative assistants, and sightseeing.
September 22 to October 8- Congressional Fellowships, meetings with former members of Congress, round-table discussions and supplemental meetings. Weekend excursion to New York City and other cultural events in Washington DC area.
October 9-14: Travel to South West Virginia – homestays, meetings with local government and planning meetings.
October 15-16: Program wrap up, evaluations, Farewell reception
October 17: Departure
U.S. Delegates travel to Kuwait and Oman
Delegation #1: 5 people have been selected to travel to Kuwait and Oman December 4-17, 2010. The delegation includes 3 current Congressional staffers and 2 Former Members of Congress. More news to come later.
