<p><a href="http://www.legacyintl.org" target="_blank">Legacy International</a> in partnership with <strong>US Association of Former Members of Congress </strong>is making plans for the second cycle of visitors to the US from Oman and Kuwait.  The<strong> </strong><strong>Legislative Fellows Program 2009-2011 (LFP) </strong>links community leaders  from  the United States, Kuwait, and Oman.  This two-year program supports social innovators from the Arabian Gulf, builds capacity in local Civil Service Organizations (CSO),  and strengthens mutual understanding of the legislative and policy making processes in all three countries.  LFP is also designed to enhance  appreciation for the role of civil society engagement.</p>
<p>LFP is sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and administered by Legacy International.</p>
